VALERIA MICELI
Valeria Miceli, PhD, is Policy Officer at the European Commission (DG FISMA) dealing with banking prudential regulation and Basel standards, covered bonds and stress tests.
Before taking this position, she was Associate Professor in Financial Economics at Università Cattolica, Milan. She was member of the board of Anima Holding, the asset manager. She has also been a senior consultant for Ernst & Young and Capgemini. She extensively researched in the field of institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds and sustainable finance authoring various articles, books and scientific papers. She held a post-doc position at the University of Cambridge (UK), she has a PhD in Economics from Università Cattolica (Milan) and a BA in Economics from Bocconi University (Milan).
